How El Yasmina Herbs & Spices collects, uses and protects your information.

Last updated 3 September 2026

El Yasmina Herbs & Spices (“we”, “us”) is an Egyptian grower and exporter of dried herbs, spices, seeds, flowers and dehydrated vegetables, based in Beni Suef, Egypt. This policy explains what personal data we collect through elyasminaherbs.com, why we collect it and what rights you have.

1. What we collect

We only collect what you give us when you contact us or request a quotation:

  • Your name and company name
  • Business email address and telephone or WhatsApp number
  • Country or destination market
  • The products, quantities, packaging and specifications you enquire about
  • Any other details you choose to include in your message

Our web server and hosting provider also record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.

2. Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation
  • To arrange samples, orders, shipping and export documentation
  • To meet legal, customs and food-safety record-keeping obligations
  • To improve the website and protect it against misuse

If you are in the EU or UK, our legal basis is normally the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or compliance with a legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only where necessary with:

  • Our website hosting and form-processing providers, who transmit your enquiry to us
  • Freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers, where needed to move your shipment
  • Independent inspection or laboratory bodies, where you request their certificates
  • Authorities, where required by law

4. International transfers

We are based in Egypt and our service providers may be located outside your country. Where personal data of EU or UK residents is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards and limit the transfer to what is needed for your enquiry or shipment.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards for commercial follow-up. Records connected to an actual shipment, including quality and export documents, are kept for the periods required by Egyptian commercial, tax and food-safety law.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You may also ask us to stop sending you commercial messages at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@elyasminaherbs.com. We aim to reply within one business day and to resolve requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function and, where applicable, basic analytics to understand which pages are useful. If you choose automatic translation, a cookie remembers that preference. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are needed for parts of the site to work correctly.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry data is limited to the members of our export team who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
